Lumber Lane

I wanted to create a logo design for a lumber game and so I started by looking at logos for such games. One common trend is a wooden pattern as a backboard for the text, and so I used that in the "Lumber" text. One issue I struggled with was with the "Lane" part. Putting the text with the "Lumber" on the same place made the wood backboard redundant, so I opted for a hanging sign type design which turned out pretty good. To finalize the design I just added axe icons and leaves with a few touches on the lighting.
