Color Switch

I was really looking forward to make this logo. The client wanted me to make a colorful logo for their game "Color Switch" with a background of many colorful tiles. This reminded me of the Block Party minigame in Minecraft. The making of the main text was the easy part, I just used a set of the colors the client told me was in their game, I used this color scheme for the tiles as well. The placing of the tiles was the part I kind of struggled in, the placement wasn't looking as good as I wanted to, and I also wanted to give a perception of depth and variety in size. I managed to solve this by arranging the squares in a grid and then varying the sizes. As a final touch the client told me he wanted a lighter outline on the text since I originally used a darker outline. I opted to using a light metallic border instead, to make it lighter while also maintaining contrast with the background.
